Payment safety guide
1. Check the order, not a promise
Open the order in the app and check that payment has been received and is held in escrow. If it still says Waiting for payment, do not set off or start. A chat promise, payment screenshot or bank receipt is not proof that this order is paid.
2. Why full payment comes first
Upfront payment reserves the booking and puts the agreed service amount in escrow. Escrow is not yet withdrawable income. It is released under the completion and refund rules. Without platform payment there are no escrow funds to release, and we cannot recover a promised cash or direct payment.
Common payment traps
“I will pay cash when we meet.” Do not travel or provide the service on this promise. Ask the client to pay the full order through the platform first.
“I will send you a 50% deposit and pay the rest later.” A partial or direct deposit does not confirm the platform order or protect the unpaid balance. Wait until the full order is paid through the platform.
“I have paid. Here is a screenshot.” Check the order itself. Do not follow payment links, share verification codes or pay a fee to receive or release a payment.
If you have already left or started
Do not continue on a payment promise. Ask the client to complete the platform payment and check the order yourself before proceeding. If you feel unsafe, leave. Keep the conversation in the app and report suspicious messages. Contact support if the payment status is unclear.
